DESCRIPTION
In the furthest point of the Salento Peninsula (in Apulia, in the shout of Italy) a qalk under the fresh shadows of the trees will take you to an old suggestive building: Giardino degli Angeli.
Il belonged to the last Prince of Presicce.. Then the building became a tobacco manufactory. Now it has been restored but it holds its ancient taste: here you can image to hear countrymen singing and women in their blacxk long traditional skirts dancing the "pizzica".
The Giardino degli Angeli is surrounded by olive trees, is ten minutes from the beatiful beaches than skirt the jonian sea and from the cape of Santa Maria di Leuca, and it is near Presicce (1 minute only) "città degli Ipogei" (ipogean oil-press), where you can sightsee: Churches, Palazzo Ducale, Casa Turrita, Corte Soronzi, Piazzetta Padreterno, Palazzi and in particular church di Santa Maria degli Angeli that is located next to Giardino degli Angeli
