Castro Marina

Castro was episcopal center from 1179 to 1537. Situated between olives and beautiful villas, conserve in big part Aragoneses walls of the end of the 500.
The main castle, with quadrangular plant, was constructed on a roman ancient “rocca” become then byzantine and normane. It is come down to Castro Marina from a road flanked from many campaigns of olives.
It is a colourful locality with pleasant little port , purpose of bathing and tourists.
